Winter 2020 – First, Put On Your Own Oxygen Mask

The workshop is for parents who want to improve their quality of life and their relationship with their children. The material I cover truly changed my life, and I would love to share it with you. To quote Brianna Wiest, “True self-care is not salt baths and chocolate cake, it is making the choice to build a life you don’t need to regularly escape from.” Take my class and start the process of building a life that sustains you, even when things are hard.
In this eight-session workshop you will learn new ways to think about your problems and how to implement self-care techniques proven to reduce stress, even when life is incredibly busy. In addition to learning more about yourself, you will join with other parents who want to learn skills taught in cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy, as well as mindfulness–based stress reduction techniques.
This workshop will be led by Dr. Sarah Wayland, Ph.D. and starts Monday, January 13th, 2020.
